Biography

Karya Anliak is a Turkish-Luxembourgish multidisciplinary designer with a BA in Graphic Design. She is currently studying at the Master Industrial Design Program at ZHDK, researching how biology, material science and industrial design work together for more regenerative and collaborative practices.

Her work explores the intersections of multiple disciplines of design, science, and ecology. Working across communication, industrial design, and visual narratives, her practice researches our relationships with the industrial, cultural and living and non-living systems, aiming for more sustainable and transdisciplinary design processes.
